R.M. Derrick has always had a love for fictional worlds and a dream to create them. She has a particular passion for stories that give the page/screen/voice to characters in larger bodies. Plus size people deserve representation in media.

When not occupying her imagined worlds, R.M. is a 30-something desert-dweller who believes in the magic of words on paper, the stimulating power of caffeine, and the supreme satisfaction of a Happily Ever After. She lives with her family and adorable pitbull terrier in the southwestern United States.
